40 S&W best round/grain?

Just wondering what all the 40 s&w guys carry bullet weight wise? I'm a the heavier the bullet the better. I carry 180gr Winchester ranger BJHP. Its cheap enough to practice with and has basically the same ballistics as the much more expensive PDX1 just no fancy nickle plated brass. Whats your favorite round and why?

For prictice, I roll my own. I'm shooting a Hornady HAP bullet 180 grain at a little over 1050 fps. For my carry ammo I'm using the 165 grain Hornady Critical Defense.

i load 180 grain fmj for practice and cary 180 grain JHP, winchester bonded most of the time
