I'd be interested in seeing how much a .45 ACP drops at 400 yards. Never mind the 650 mentioned! I'm thinking one-minute-of-5-story-building!
Exactly what I was thinking......I plugged in a 250gr bullet moving at 820 fps and zeroed in at 35 yards.
At 400 yards it would drop 459 inches (38.25 feet) and you would need 110 MOA elevation. I'd have to see someone shoot that weapon without adjusting the sights as the article stated.
Even trying to hit a 100 yard torso sized target with my 1911 seems to be about an impossible feat. The bullet drop seems completely unpredictable. Luck is about the only factor on my side.

It should say 650 yards with the optional Base Plate...It also claims 650y with "instruction".
