    I'm still thinking that it's a rifle length gas system and that's the issue. Pretty much every other 450 is a carbine system regardless of barrel length. 450BM is a hot load, but maybe the pressure drops dramatically by the time it hits a rifle length gas port.

    Like 98% of the 300blk carbines out there need pistol length gas systems
