Anyone have favorite H335 data to contribute?

Going from memory since I'm at work so don't go loading these without consulting a book/www first.

    IIRC

    55gr nosler varmageddon FBHP
    FC brass
24.5gr or 25.0 H335 (cant remember the charge, but it was close to max, and sub moa from my 1in8 16" AR
    CCI 400

FWIW, the mid south varmint nightmare extreme 55gr FBHP was 10 cents a bullet shipped (about a nickel cheaper than the noslers) and shot just as good. I THINK they are the same bullet. They are my go to 55gr projectile for a good balance of value, and accuracy. MOA or better from my rifle, provided I do my part.

25.0gr. of H335 (Or WC844) under a 55gr. FMJ has been my standard for awhile..Bill.

I too have been using 25.0 to 25.2gr of WC844 for several years. Remember that 844 is a milsurp powder and varies (sometimes by quite a bit) as far as how fast it is. You definitely want to start about 10% low and work up from there.

That H335 really is pretty hard to beat. If I had a bucket of 748 I'd use that but it aint what I got.

Use 748 but currently trying out some 335 for a change with 55gr Nosler Poly's. Got some A-Max's on the way.

Question- is there a difference in V-Max vs. A-max?

trophyhunter, where did you find the quickload app? I thought it was based in the UK?

    Padawan,

Quickload is software that runs on your PC.

26.5 grains of CFE223 is my go to powder for 55gr AR loads.
CFE223 is like little black ball bearings and it meters boringly perfect through my Dillon 650.

I see someone already posted a link to buy it here, they have had a California based distributor for some time now. ~Best money you'll ever spend, especially with the powder companies wanting to weed out some of the old stand by powders and introducing newer propellant bases that offer more performance for common calibers it pays for itself in a real hurry.
