I think its about time I start my own reloading. I've been looking at an RCBS Rock Chucker single stage press kit. I've searched and looked but most answers lead to RCBS progressive press which states it goes from .32-.46 caliber. I shoot a lot of 6.5 Grendel and want to put the 500 S&W to use. My question is can the Rock Chucker press handle 500 S&W? I'm a little new to this and some single stage presses state they only go up to .45 caliber.

Your post is not very clear on what you are trying to ask. If you want a Rockchucker press it will handle both cartridges you mentioned without any problem. The only thing specific to the cartridges will be the dies and shellholders.

Thanks I edited it to avoid confusion. Just wanted to make sure the press I'm looking at can load 500 S&W

The limitation you're referring to would be with regard to the 50 caliber BMG cartridge. The RCBS RockChucker, or any of the standard C-Frame or O-Frame single-stage presses will reload basically any cartridge out there, short of the 50BMG. It's a question of cartridge length and the 500S&W, as powerful as it is, really isn't all that long of a cartridge, so you can load it with almost any press.
