T-mobile users here. We switched last year from DSL. Saved $32 a month and most times have 10X the speed. There are the occasional evening when we have little to no data but 95% of the time its awesome. Your location to the tower will dictate your speed and reception.... so like the DSL we had before but faster and cheaper.
we have had a couple evenings where it doesn't work worth a ****, but after 13 months we;ve had less outages than we did with the DSLIs the service consistent? Are there outages?
I tried T-Mobile's gateway for a week. Signal was so-so, and I never got more than 30Mbps on the down. Probably ok for most people, but be aware of the latency that is inherent to 5G wireless. My typical latency from my Frontier wireless access point is less than 20 milliseconds, while 5G was in the 50-60 ms range. This might impact streaming videos, but especially on-line gaming. Definitely take advantage of the free trial. Is the service consistent? Are there outages?
going from 5.1 Mbps down, 0.3 up o this was huge. We average about 50-60 down, 5-10 up. Some will wrinkle your nose at those speeds but these were and are my only two options.I tried T-Mobile's gateway for a week. Signal was so-so, and I never got more than 30Mbps on the down.
