I did not watch it, but I have heard of several instances of Sovereign Citizens either Killing, or advocating for the killing of LEO's. Yeah, the entire movement is a bunch of violent wacko's, just like every LEO is dirty and wants to violate all your past, present, and future rights.

Sovereign citizens are listed on the FBI's top terror threats. Did ya hear that? They even called them "paper terrorists" for filing lawsuits against the government. How hard would it be for any of us to get this label?

If you believe that you were born free and that you don't need to be numbered at birth, then you'll be grouped in with terrorists and murderers. Given all of our recent advances in stomping out due process for "terror suspects", soon these folks will be getting assassinated or locked away without trials. That's how we fight the war on terror, by giving away all "politically correct" ideas about due process contained in the constitution.

They even slipped in that Police Chief's bit about stopping people from taking the 1st Amendment too far. And how he wants people who speak out to be brought up on charges. Oh and they demonized conspiracy theories in their little propaganda piece too.

The end of the piece there said to go to 60 Minutes' website to learn more about the sovereign citizen movement.

However, it added a "sponsored by" at the end. What it sounded to me that it said "to learn more about the sovereign citizen movement sponsored by viagra."

I didn't know boner pills sponsored the sovereign citizen movement.

That video was full of fail. I know they need to downplay the whole movement, but really? Did they have to pick every incompetent person on the planet to feature? What happened to the press' responsibility to provide fair and unbiased coverage?

The responsibility of the press has evolved into feeding the sheeple government approved material to keep them under their thumb. And yes, that includes Fox News.

I want to address what I highlighted in red.

The Sovereign Citizens are not filing law suits against the government, they are filing liens of fake debts, against specific individuals to attack them personally for following their jobs as assigned by the government, ie government officials such as police officers and judges. There is a big difference here. They are making a personal attack on these officials and not on the government rules and regulations.

Second I believe in our Constitution including the 1st ammendment, with that being said the person excercising their 1st ammendment right has to be held responsible for what they are saying. Example. You can not yell "Fire" in a crowded theater when there is no fire, causing panic amongst the people.

My last comment not pertaining to the quote above, is that you are not required to have a drivers license. Driving is a privledge. If you want to drive a vehicle then you are required to know the rules, take a test to prove you know the rules and then show you can safely operate a vehicle. But you're not required to do any of this unless you want a divers license. To many people forget that driving is a privledge and not a right.

Just my :twocents: on this subject.
