That's certainly 7.62x39mm and not 7.62x51mm NATO, correct?

    It's still a decent deal.

I believe so, unless they have something else in stock on sale. The 5.56 was over $400 1K and the 7.62 was over $500 if I remember correctly. Thtas tax and all, out the door....

I think they had Wolf .223 for $300 out the door.

Thats not bad in todays world.... I guess. (taking big gulp and swallowing todays inflated prices!!!)

I was looking at the cases of PMC 5.56 they had. I miss Rex there, I got a little better prices having known him for years, no problems w/ Jerome and his crew though.;)

Plainfield usually has 1000/223 Silver bear for $255 out the door.

I didnt ask or see any cases left but he had appox. 30 boxes on the shelf at $5.99 per..... $300 a case price.

Is that pretty decent range stuff? I almost bought 20+ boxes because it was 62gr HP, but I passed to hope some Port is left at another shop for $80/ 200.:n00b: I have cases upon cases stashed I dont know why Im still buying at these prices!!!:bash:

My brother shoots it, Don shoots it, and I know a few others as well. Seems to be a decent ammo. Only downside is steel cased, but for the price you can't complain. You can get 1000 for about $250 shipped from ammo2go and about the same from aimsurplus.

I haven't had one problem with it. No FTFs or FTEs. It has a pretty good group at 200 yards too, and that was shooting through an EoTech with a scope behind it to magnify.
