Thorp told the Washington Examiner the primary reason that seven-out-of-10 California doctors are boycotting the Obamacare exchange is due to the state’s low Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rates, which typically land 30 percent below those in other parts of the country.

Higher standard of living by far, but lower reimbursement rates?

This can't stop or slow the march of progressivism. We will simply pass laws requiring them to work for whatever we allow them. They must not be allowed to escape their duties for the common good.

Just keep remembering that if you like your health care plan, you can keep it. If you like your doctor, you can keep him too. Health insurance premiums will go down an average of $2500/year. I really feel sorry for anyone who was gullible enough to believe that crap the first time that they heard it and probably believe the democreeps that are defending the ACA tooth and nail to keep from having to admit that they were all in on this biggest and foulest of governmental schemes.

They will fold as soon as their waiting rooms clear out and the money stops coming in those .gov plans will start looking real good. Sure your overall care will suffer but it will become a numbers game at that point.

Since Obamacare will necessarily cause a shortage of care (you can't dump XX million people into it and not overburden the system), these doctors will simply take the patients that will be willing to pay them for getting the care they want, how they want and when they want. People with the means will still be able to get good health care, They'll just have to pay for it.

I don't feel sorry for them. They are the ones responsible for this mess in the first place.
