    I was going to say something about having a handgun in New York City, but then the story went on to say it was registered to the kid's father. Unbelievable that dad could take the time and effort to get a handgun legally in NYC and then leave it around so his son could take it!

    Scary stuff if you have children, my oldest will be 5 this July and I can't imagine how I would feel if my child was around this type of activity.

    Not to sound superior, but people need to be responsible and I hope they throw the book at the father.

    Follow up story below... not a Glock as the first story pictured-- guess Glock's are the MSM's go-to "deadly assault hand-weapon" in their photo archive file-- but a beat up Taurus, so the $3.50 was fair market value after all.
