I'm new to reloading so bear with me.
My question is will one 9mm die set be able to be reset to reload 9x19mm to 9x17mm or will I need two separate die sets? :dunno:

    Shell holder different also..

    I believe the .380 (9/17) uses a RCBS #10 shell holder (Same as .223/5.56). The 9/19 uses RCBS #16 shell holder...Bill.

As someone who loads both 380 and 9mm, let me just say that I am very glad that a 9x19 case will not fit into a 9x17 shell holder. Among other things, this is a good safety precaution against loading a 380 with 9mm data.
