9mm SBR

Got my SBR done after buying parts and waiting for aound a year. Most of it is Spikes parts with a Lothar Walther barrel and Trident 9 using a 3 lug. Shot 60 rnds through it yesterday with one FTF.

Where the suppressor is nested inside the handguard, a la the HK MP-5SD.

Awesome build, I wanted to ask a question; I am under the impression that a 9mm conversion does not use the gas system of a typical AR platform is this true?

That's true, they are blow back operated, not gas operated.

It was nice not having to line the gas tube up while building the upper.
