A bit different, but bear with me:
A lady at my church had a son who drowned while whitewater rafting a while back. The last thing he did before going under the water was to push his sister onto the bank, out of the water. He left behind a wife and two kids.
They family has a scholarship set up to help folks who enter the medical field (EMTs, nursing, that sort of thing.)

I know money is tight for everyone, but if you can spare a buck or two and want to chip in to the scholarship, it would be greatly appreciated.
(I don't get a dime of this, by the way. The donation link at the bottom is managed by the accountant who manages the scholarship.)
