Alright, so while searching for the rendition of God Bless America sang the other night at Busch Stadium, a link to Democratic Underground popped up. I thought i'd visit it and see what it had to say. If this doesn't make you think liberals are trying to ruin this great country, then I dont know what will.

Basically, its a short discussion about getting rid of God Bless America during the 7th inning because its "too religious", 9/11 is far enough away to forget about, and it provides myth's of American Exceptionalism. I just don't them libtards.

Thanks for posting that link. I go there every now and again when something notable happens to have a glimpse at what the "other" side thinks.
Towards the bottom of the thread you linked to, I found this:

What is despicable? Being a soldier does not automatically make you a hero, there are other heros out there. Believe it or not a dog saving his family is indeed a hero as well as a cop or fire fighter risking their lives for a greater good.

Lighten up. We're still fighting a war overseas. We'll be giving up soon and unless there is another major successful terror attack on the Continental United States, the country will again forget its military folks in a year or two. Then you can go back to venerating heroic doggies and others. "It's Tommy this an' Tommy that and Tommy wait outside . . . "

I'm a dog lover and all but there is no comparison here between saluting a dog and paying respect to men and women who willingly step into the line of fire to make my country and the area I live in a safer place. I've tried to see things from a liberal's perspective but I just can't get my cranium that close to my rectum.
