When you're behind a funeral procession & you're on a multi-lane road, Can you legally pass the procession. I would not, but sometimes they run slower so all can keep up. Just curious.

I say yes legally. I don't see it as a morality issue, but a respect one.

Everything mentioned above states that it's legal to pass on a multi lane HIGHWAY, there are numerous multi lane ROADS, I would assume that you cannot pass on them. A little confusing as to determining what kind of road you're traveling. Part of the reason I asked was because while in a procession traveling in the left lane,(we would be turning just ahead), years ago ,I saw a car coming up beside us ON THE RIGHT, I & another car in the procession moved over to cut him off before he could get to the family limousine
Hearse. I guess it looks like I was in the wrong.

    Right here.
Most generally if they seem to be going my way I just fall in behind the last car, turn on my headlights and run with them until either they or I decide to turn in a different direction.

I have never had the occasion to need to pass a funeral procession on the highway. Sometimes in town, rather than pass, I will just drive over a block or two and proceed that way out of respect.
