A Six Month Wait On A New Stock???

Last Christmas I ordered a new B&C stock for my Remington 700 drop-magazine from Stockys. They were having a sale at the time and they did say they were backordered. However, after almost two months I contacted them to see when it would be shipping. They say that the typical wait is now 24 weeks! That would have been nice to know when I ordered it. So, do I cancel and pay more elsewhere or wait until June for my stock... Hummm...

Depends on how big of a hurry your in. I ordered a stock for my savage over a year ago, and still don't have a date, but I'm in no hurry for it.

Unless you have very specific needs I would look at other options, there are a lot of companies that make stocks for the 700 so I'm sure you can find what you need that is available.

If you get a McMillan or Manners made to your specs it'll take about the same time. Just wait it out

I waited 5 months for a Bell & Carlson stock from Stocky's.
