    Who would have believed it? A two-bit player like Chavez and Venezeula starting it all off, TEOTWAWKI!!! All this stemming from one country re-asserting control over their gold holdings. Smart, very smart on their part. that is how runs on banks started in the 30's. I guess that countries aren't much different than us people are they? This could be very interesting. I personnaly don't see the US giving Chavez and hard gold assets. I predict a fiat transfer offer but no physical gold. He hasn't been very nice to us lately and it would be hilarious if they stiffed him!!!

    Well its a bit more serious I think. Remember the last guy that tried this type of stuff was Saddam and he is not doing so well now....Remember about 2 months before we invaded Iraq, Saddam was trying to sell oil in Euro's and not Dollars..


    Chavez is sick and his health in question. He has not much to loose but would love to have a final stab at us.....
