    Yup, the weather was excellent. The "star-option" stage was a real challenge - shoot a plate off a Texas-star, then a rectangle 7 yards off to the side, then another plate off the star (which is now moving), then a rectangle 7 yards off to the OTHER side and then the star for the stop (with two optional plates for a time bonus).

    My daughter and I are now hooked! :rockwoot:
    I will have to get one of those fancy scopes/sight thingy's for my 10/22 and have my other daughter shoot as well. Any suggestions?

    Glad you had a good time.

    As for the fancy sight. If you want to just try one, the simmons is around $30 and work pretty well.

    Otherwise do you homework and look at a lot of them. The size, brightness and most important to me SHARPNESS of the dot varies greatly.

    My current sight is my favorite so far. It is a bushnell Zoom Dot. $200. The dot is very sharp and adjustable in size.
