You got a very nice one there, I have had 3 or 4 over the years and I would advise just keep it in 7.5 french, its a good round. Its my opinion the L1A1 was a copy of the this rifle, the design was stolen from the french for the drop lock bolt system. These are one of my favorites, interesting how the French can make such good designs and then choke when it comes to designing the magazine...I just don't get it. I wonder if the design team went like this "Wow, that is a fantastic rifle design Philipe" "Now we would like you to use this supper ****ty low copacity mag with it, You can do it!"
