Can anyone recommend me a dedicated AK gunsmith (near NWI) to add a scope rail to my 20" Maadi? I want it riveted. Or if the job is easy enough, and a fellow INGOer has the goods to rivet it, I'm not opposed to doing it in a garage.

I don't want a tacticool AK, just one that looks like an original DDR type AK. No bubba here. Also it is a neutered postban (thumbhole stock, no bayo-lug, etc) so no worries about ruining the collector value.

    Thanks

Good luck. Digging out the forward rear trunnion rivet for the plate without marring up the receiver too badly is going to be time consuming. Not hard, just slow.
