    Hey Everyone,

Here is the current situations with the proposed deer rule changes.

    Deer
The first public comment period and public hearing were held for the deer hunting rule proposals, and a second public comment period is now open. No changes have been made to the rule language since it was first given preliminary adoption; click here for more information on the proposals. Citizens can submit comments to the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) regarding these proposals at: www.in.gov/nrc/rules/rulemaking-docket/ and click on the link to submit comments under the deer hunting rule amendments. The second public hearing will be held at Atterbury FWA on May 20 from 5:30-7:30pm, with an open house immediately prior to that from 4:30-5:30pm. We are hoping to help answer questions about the proposals during the open house. The public hearing can be attended either in-person or virtually during the entire public hearing; the link is not yet available for the virtual option for this next public hearing.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
