    I wish they would start punishing the adulterers, tax evaders, fornicators, money launderers, illegal drug users, thieves, and those who carry guns illegally.

    If the NFL is going to take on itself the responsibility of managing their player's off hours, I guess they should.

    ...but it's a concept I don't much understand. I know, I know, PR.

    These people should be held to a higher standard. They are put out there as sports hero's, and the young people in our society look up to as role models. If you want the big bucks it comes with responsibilities. I feel you should lose if you act like a fool.

    I find that odd. Undoubtedly true, but odd.

    My kids do not hold up athletes as role models. Kids mimic parents and it's parents who teach them to spend hours in front of television learning the players and forming fantasy leagues. All while they (parents and children) can't even put a group of words together to make a complete sentence.
