I wonder..............If I ran into this guy on the street and beat the crap out of him, do you think I would be charged with child abuse?

Not sure this is any more outrageous than all those members of the "greatest generation" who took out much more from SS than they put in, charging the rest to their grandchildren who'll pay for others and never benefit themselves.

This guy is a symptom, he's not the problem.

I really hope this guy dies in a fire. How are he abuse the system like this. That statement he made about killing himself, why didn't he do it already, it would be the best thing he could do for society and the economy.

Ive been trying and keep getting denied because of people like this. I have a legitement cause(low vision) and have seen people like him get checks. I also know of guys that just dont want to work and they get them as well. It seems no one in this economy will hire a person with barely any sight besides a college scholarship job even walmart.

"When The Times first contacted Mr. Thornton about the investigation, he acknowledged thoughts of suicide, saying he had “no problem killing myself” if his benefits were taken away."

    Problem solved.

Sounds annoyingly passive aggressive to me. I hate passive aggressive people.

Another sickening example of why our country is headed towards bankruptcy. The car is headed downhill and is picking up more speed daily.
