Alright guys long story short a friend of a friend in Florida got a speeding ticket and is needing $$ asap so i was offered this for $300, seems to be a good deal especially in today's market but let me know what you think and if there is anything in the rifle I need to look for. What I've been told is its a Romanian wasr 10/63, round count is about 50, comes with box, 2 mags and 120 rds.

I would jump on it. Even if it did have the issues common to that rifle, it is still a great deal.
Issues common to that rifle are:
    Mag wobble.
    Canted front sight tower.

$$'s been sent to the friend as of this morning, should have it within the week. just was trying to find out more about it and if in inspection he should look for anything particular. tomorrow he is getting it and function testing it for me. (bastard)

You did well sir. The WASR's are great as long as you keep your expectations realistic. It's a cheap AK. They'll most likely fire every time you squeeze the trigger, but overall fit / finish might not be that great. I'd be hesitant to pay what people have been asking of them as of late, but that's a great deal.

well did some research and the gun is clear and not reported stolen (i was worried because of price), and had my friend "function test" it. needless to say like most ak's it functioned flawlessly. there was some surface rust but nothing that cant be easily fixed. Thanks agian guys for the heads up on some of the issues

What a great deal. The Wasr 10 is the one you dont want. Non chromed lined barrel, trigger slap and excessive mag wobble. The 10/63 models are much more quality rifles. They come with the G2 trigger, chrome lined barrel, and shim inside the mag well that reduces mag wobble. I'd jump all over it for $300. Unfortunately the Wasr 10 and the 10/63's both have canted front sights. But for $300 i wouldnt let it walk away. The canted sight cant be fixed pretty easily if it bothers you that bad. CIA has really stepped up their quality from the 10 to the 10/63

Nice score! I'd love to find a deal like that! You can swap out the furniture for some Romy wood pretty cheap if you want to take it back to a more "classic" ak look. I just bought a set for $22 on another forum. The US 922r compliance parts originally installed on the rifle should be the tapco fcg (3 parts), the pistol grip, the muzzle brake, and gas piston for a total of (6) US parts. Therefor you could put the Romy wood buttstock and upper/lower handguards back on it and still legally use combloc millsurp mags instead of the US mags. I would double check your US parts count on the rifle though.
Just passing the idea along, everyone has their own preference on style.

From looking at your video that's just your bolt carrier sticking. My Saiga did that until broken in. Shouldn't affect function and will probably cease sticking once you've put more rounds through it.

Ya I've considered putting a regular stock back on. I have a question though. I've read everywhere about the bolt not staying open. Well mine does with or without mags??? Nothing has been cut no special safety, why?? Special model?

Its the US made trigger parts set. The bottom of the bolt carrier is sticking on the face of the hammer. This really isnt as big of a deal as it sounds. If your gun has no problem functioning when you fire it, dont worry about it. If it does, Youll have to take some metal off the front face of the hammer and/or try and find a more powerful recoil spring. Some of the Romys are a little softer. Shoot it. And if it works ok, its a non issue.

The wrong sized selector can also cause this. There is a minor difference in size on the selector where it meets the trigger. If its too large(long) it will lock up. Changing my SAR3 selector to my SAR1 caused it to lock up just as you posted.
