ammo prices up!

Prices on most of the ammo at wal-mart went up today, +1 on wwb 9mm, +2 on federal 100 40s&w, +3 on w550 .22 and similar on many others, from $.50 to $3.00 raise on most. Gun prices up also, about $30 across the board on Rem and Mossy. Ramping up to election time I suppose.

Well I just got back from the Walmart on Jefferson here in Ft Wayne, price of 223 Tula was the same as what it normally is.They only had 14 boxes left of Tula 223 so I took everything they had.I was at the Maysville location 2-3 days ago and cleaned them out of the 223 Tula they had in stock(only 5 boxes). This stuff fires fine out of my AR, haven't tried it yet out of the V93.Probably be at Roush this Saturday to see if it will run out of the Vector.

According to a recent media release from Bud's Guns, they broke their one-day sales record this month...TWICE! The BATF reports continued high volume of gun sales and manufacturers are reporting that they cannot keep up with demand. Just wait until the GOP picks a candidate and the campaigning begins in earnest. If you thought prices were bad when Obama was elected the first time around, I'm guessing people will panic even worse, should he get a second term.

Fortunately, I only need a handful of primers, a pound of powder and some cast off lead wheel weights to make the meager number of rounds I might shoot.

So you're the reason that stuff is never in stock when I go there

I cleaned them out of 7.62X39 a few weeks ago.

I think a lot of people think the stuff is going to hit the fan soon. Obama getting re-elected may be part of that too but gun sales were up last year too so I don't think it is just election year frenzy.
