    I'm confused - do you want the truth or the an explanation that fits into your ideological framework of the evils of government?

    I suppose I need to add this thread to my list.

    I'd settle for the truth, I don't expect it to be along any time soon though.

    Obviously civilian demand is contributing to the shortages, and in some cases, as with .22, entirely responsile for it, but...

    Training ammo.....they are sitting on a twenty year supply, and.....they will not be issuing any training ammo next quarter.

    Oh but, they say, they are doing me a huge favor by buying in bulk and saving me huge piles of money......To a point, yes, but when you are sitting on a twenty year supply of something you dont go out and buy more just because you can get a good deal.
