For the past several years I have had problems with "elevated liver enzyme numbers." This is, as one might imagine, a concern since liver problems are killers and there's not a lot that can be done for most of them.

Yesterday, I get home from work to find a message from my doctor that the latest blood work was back and my liver numbers were . . . NORMAL!!!!

And to think, I always hated liver.

Well, okay, i still hate liver, just not mine. ;)

That's always great news to hear. It's when they call and leave a message on the machine for you to call them as soon as possible that really sucks...

    congrats on the news...

I'm sorta surprised they left the info on your phone with the new HIPPA laws. Glad everything is good for you though.

Been through that myself. Lost some weight and they came down for me. It is a real load on your mind. Like you said, nothing good causes it...

Congrats! Did you make a life style change that got you back to normal?

I've been losing weight pretty steadily for the past several months. Down 40 lbs from where I started.

Well, what they do is leave a callback to a message service. I provide a "patient ID number" to the message service and it plays back a recorded message.
