I have some former knowledge of programming from high school and my beginning days of college, but most has been lost over the years. I've dabbled in a bit of codding as well as web design, but I wouldn't say I'm proficient anymore. I'm looking into digging into a programming language to develop and android app, specifically an app for the Clover POS system to assist me at work. I know Java is the "official" language of android, but I'm not sure I want to start there. I've been looking at C# with Xarmarin, and it looks promising.
Any thoughts from a developer, or pointers to get started? I know there are other places I could ask this, but I figured INGO is a great community so I'd start here.
