The parents of Nick Taylor were notified this morning that their son lost his life in an explosion in Afghanistan. There are no details available, but our prayers are with the Taylor family in this time of loss. Tim Taylor, Nick's father, is the Chief of Police in Berne, Indiana. Thank you to Nick and to the Taylor family for Nick's service and sacrifice for our country.

What a waste. We're not committed to do anything there anymore; our best die for nothing. No way can we thank him adequately for his service and sacrifice.

Another debt for the ultimate sacrifice we cannot repay.

I offer my utmost respect and gratitude to this young man and his family.
