Any ideas on repair turnaround time for Sig Sauer returned to the company?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has any idea of the current turnaround time for returning a 1911-22LR to Sig Sauer for repairs?

I took my gun back into the dealer to be sent in to Sig. The dealer/gun shop gave me an approximate repair/return time of 2 weeks.

Well, I called into the gun shop at 2 weeks and they told me it took 2 weeks to get the number they needed from Sig in order to return it. (???????)

I just spoke with them (gun shop/dealer) again and they told me repair turnaround time for Sig Sauer is now 2 MONTHS ...

If anyone has any idea of the actual turnaround time or could be of any assistance as in who or where to check, I would really appreciate it.

Why not talk to sig directly? Sounds like your shop is fos. I had a repair once I called sig, they sent me a label. I took it to ups or FedEx. I think I had the 226 back maybe a couple weeks. Advice: cut out the middle man.
