Maybe I lead a sheltered life... But what exactly is a Mason? There is a lodge 2 blocks from my house, I have seen folks with the plates, but Ive never really known, and everyone I have ever asked says I have to join to know.

A Mason is a member of the Masonic fraternity. A man who believes in God and wants to be a better man in his private as well as public life. We look to make life better for each other and the community. Example, less then a month ago, a local family lost everything in a house fire. 3 days after we had a team formed and plan. 10 days later we had a chili supper at our lodge. The community turned out strong and 100% of the money was presented to the family. These are the things that most make me proud. Single mom struggling, family falls on hard times, they might find that someone paid their electric bill. Help me out brothers !! I'm not covering it all.

No I am not aware of anyone who is a member of my local lodge. I do know a few members of other lodges.
