Sorta depends on your intended uses. Mine's my do it all, go to gun. Most of the time it.sits by the bed with a 21 inch barrel on it, thumbhole camp stock just because its easier for me to handle that way, 00buck, and a cheapie elastic slip on shell holder with extras. Come deer season the barrel changes to a cantilevered rifled barrel with a.3x9x40 lesser maker scope,.and.the shell holder comes.off. I don't hunt rabbit or birds much anymore, but the regular 28" vent rib barrel would work fine, with wood stocks if that matters to you. Come spring the camo stocks go back on, and the Wally Mart undertaker choke goes into the vent rib barrel for turkey. Did I mention I love REMington?
