Anybody know what this is?

I just purchased an FN Reflex yesterday and upon breaking it down, it has this white gunk all around where the slide lock is. Is it some kind of lube? I've just never seen something like this before. Thanks in advance.

Roger that. My son's P365 was coated in the stuff.

I use a little too, on my contact points of my slides....."It's grease, good stuff" Credit to Elwood Blues....
