Mine is NiB coated (slide and internals) but I have almost worn it thru in spots. Don't get me started on what sweat did to the sights...

Wear an undershirt. It helps keep the sweat off your gun, and it's much more comfortable.

I need to do that.... but it gets pretty hot on the jobsite.... couple that with my squishy self and it sucks. I sweat through most times anyhow.

I bought some of the wicking tee shirts. Wore one at training last summer, but have not made it a practice. Two layers of tee shirts seems uncomfortable.

Any suggestions for the more activity bound carriers?

I have been wearing the Hanes polyester under shirts. They work very well, and I stay cool in the heat. I work in a hot environment as well.

I've been wanting to try the more expensive under armor ones.

You are a big guy with a fat belly. I share your problem. I am a big guy with a fat belly. I like carrying a shoulder rig and I wear a tshirt with an overshirt that is button up. I carry my back up on my ankle. I carry spare mags for my ankle rig on my waist on the back left, so it stays out of the way of sitting. There are a million options... IWB is not simple for the fat folk. Usually just over or just behind your front pocket works fairly well.

I HAVE trained in nasty weather before. I just haven't been attending any classes recently because I have other personal matters that's been affecting my life I must deal with.

Keeps the grabby end of the gun closer to your body, less printing.

I believes it moves the holster more at an angle, pushes the grip more into your body. Allowing for more conceal ability.

It also reduces the risk of the top-heavy pistol rotating outward and flopping out of your beltline. This is a concern for squishy people.

Let's say we get this done. What happens if someone touches the shirt with something sharp and it explodes?

I actually got excited when Dextination XL started carrying UA until I saw they only go to 3x.
