    Magpul RVG vertical grip
Midwest Industries SPLP front & rear BUIS
Smith Enterprises "Direct Connect" muzzle brake (HALO-capable)
Aimpoint COMP C3 in LaRue mount

This configuration is by no means final! The Aimpoint is a loaner off my M4, and the ACS, BAD and DC muzzle brake are all new components I have on there for T&E; I may well end up changing some or all of them pending the outcome of live-fire testing. I also don't have a light on there; I'm thinking I might try out the Danger Close Consulting low-profile mount at the 3:00 position. Once I have a final configuration established, I'm gonna paint the thing.

    Stay tuned!

Mine is still a work in progress to get it perfect as I experiment with different pieces and parts, but I am loving it more every day. I am pretty sure the next mod will be a Magpul MOE Handguard and Vertical Foregrip

    Mark,

I'm curious to hear your impressions of the RVG once you shoot it. Like you, I'm currently running a CAA SVG, but am looking for something that 'transitions' a bit smoother where the VFG and rail interface.

    Brake looks interesting too.

Don't need to wait until then; I've been playing with it quite a bit at the house already. ;) I really like it, primarily for the very reason you allude to in your post. In fact, I ordered two; the second one has replaced the TangoDown vertical grip on my M4. Am I going to replace the CAA SVGs on my 5.56 and 9mm shorties? Probably not, but once they come out in FDE, I will replace the TangoDown on my Recon Carbine, and the RVG will most likely be my vertical grip of choice going forward.

    Brake looks interesting too.

It was just about the only brake I could find that was HALO-compatible, but there's virtually no information on the various forums regarding performance. We'll see. If it doesn't work out, the new BattleComp might be an interesting option.

Calvin: Daddy, there are NO bad guys here, you don't have to clear the house AGAIN! :D

Steve was running a prototype BattleComp, but that was the first time I had ever heard of it, so I didn't know to be impressed. I will have to do some more reading.

Basically, it's supposed to give performance similar to the PWS FSC556 or KAC TT without the side blast of the former or the pricetag of the latter, all in an A2-sized package.

There's a big thread about 'em on M4C:

:rockwoot: I just ordered the MagPul trigger guard last week. Hopefully it will arrive soon, I'll post a pic when it's on. I also like the eotech sights, it's just they are soo expensive. I opted for a $35 reddot sight that seems to work pretty well.
