Latest update to my first ever AR bought back in 2009. It used to be a CA approved model but has had all of that crap exercised out of it. The latest mod was to install an MI quad rail I had around from a different AR build and have AllenM thread the barrel for a flash hider.

I know what you are thinking. Adding a flash hider and adjustable stock just made this a dangerous killing machine and that I should be careful that it does not climb out of the safe and hunt me down at night.
    Very nice!psyko

SPOOK331945 - Can you give us a little insight into the stainless?/aluminum? rifle on the far left? 300BLK?

I found some really cool distractions (so thank you!) but did not see that one at all as a thread in his history.

    For those that were wondering..

It was an experiment.. Basically its a bolt together AR lower. Had a bunch of scrap aluminum sitting around decided to make something out of it. It was a design I stumbled upon one day on grabcad. Based on the design your could technically use a vast choice of materials. The design is limited to certain things, for example there is no bolt catch and you're limited to basic surplus steel mags. I find it to be a good example of what is important and what is not, for a firearm to work.

Got a grand total of $40 in the entire rifle including the scope. Haven't done a whole lot of shooting, nor do I really plan to. The lower hasn't shown any signs of wear but it isn't anything I'm going to run 1000s of rounds through either. It'll hit pop cans at 100 yards all day long. That usually causes a melt down of the "gucci" AR guys at the range with their $3000 rifle haha. Not saying I haven't spent that a time or two myself.

This is my S&W M&P15OR. It started out as a CA compliant rifle back in 2009 and has since had all of that stupid crap removed. The fixed stock was the second thing to go right after the 10 round mag was replaced. The flash hider, MI handguard and trigger were the latest replaced parts and I now consider it done except for the need of a better bipod

Just traded for this one today..... a 1988 Colt HBAR...... slab sided receiver, no sear block, and to top it off the camo finish is Z-KOTE which is a rarity I guess. Not familiar with that exactly but it seems I read they made 250 HBAR’s with the Z-KOTE. If anyone here can educate me a bit more on it I’d appreciate it. The final pic of the forearm you can see the Z which denotes Z-Cote.

For those that originally asked about the Bolt together AR15 lower, I started a new thread on it in the Gunsmithing section, if you're interested.
