^ThisHow far are you going to shoot? I like 16”, unless you have a need to shoot past 600. Past 600 is very doable w 16” but if thats a common distance i would jump up to 20.
Knights is doing a 14.5 6.5cm I believe and I think LMT already offers one.Have you looked at a short 6.5 creedmoor? There is a guy on YouTube "mullets America" or something like that, he's been shooting a 14.5" 6.5 creedmoor the ballistics are equal to a 20" .308.

A lot of people playing with 14.5cm right now and it makes a lot of sense.
I still refuse to buy into the modern times with 6.5 - even though I'm not an old timer, I just like the fact that 308 is over 3x as old as me and that there's a LOT of it sitting around in case society stops tomorrow. So I'm stuck with 308 for the foreseeable future.
But 14.5cm is the way to go on this if OP is willing.
Yep, I think LMT's is even a 13". I like 308 that's what my ar10 is chambered in, but I am considering swapping to a 13.7-14.5" 6.5 after this hoard of 308 ammo is gone.Knights is doing a 14.5 6.5cm I believe and I think LMT already offers one.

Who made that receiver set/handguard? That's one prettttty rifle you have there sir.
Anybody that likes the short barrels, more power to them, well maybe not power, but anyway, I just don't like the blast and noise so I go longer.
The receivers are Aero, and the rail is SLR Rifleworks 16"Who made that receiver set/handguard? That's one prettttty rifle you have there sir.
