I wanted to let ALL of our members to know about a new payment option we are working to integrate into the site..GUNPAL.NET....finally a REAL gun friendly payment option.

GUNPAL is an alternative to PayPal™ that donates a portion of the proceeds from every transaction to a Non-Profit Organization of your choice. GUNPAL does not discriminate based on the nature of your transaction, requiring only that the merchandise or services you buy and sell be legal. See their User Agreement for more information. Not MY site, but looks like it may hold peomise for our side. Pat

I may have to try this out. I got banned from paypal. Sold a gun on gunbroker, had the buyer tell me he wanted to use paypal. I told him to not reference the auction he said he would not. He puts in the title gb auction 1234567. It was not 30 minutes later I get my account frozen and told my account was suspended due to accepting payment for a firearm through paypal. I was furious. This screwed up my ebay sales and so on. It is still a mess. I tried to set up another account and they nailed me on that as well. Paypal is based in good old California isn't it?

Yes, and it's parent company is EBAY!:noway::xmad:

    This "GunPal" DOES sound intriguing!

PayPal "FROZE" my account about 3 years ago for trying to pay for a compound bow I purchased on EBay.

It took 3 WEEKS to get MY money "unfrozen", and then they told me another infraction would cause my account to be closed for violation of their "no-weapons" policy.

I IMMEDIATELY requested the closure of BOTH my PayPal, and EBay accounts.

PayPal closed within days, under threat of contacting the U.S. Comptroller of Currency.

EBay was a different story. They held my account open, AGAINST my will, for 18 more MONTHS!:xmad:

They are both great(sarcasm) You can purchase and pay for pornography through ebay and using paypal, even the real bad stuff, but God forbid you sell a weapon. Ebay actually busted me for selling ar15 speed loaders. I had sold a dozen of them before they decided to "bust" me. They had collected the fees on both sites for the dozen or so before the one that they decided they would shut me down on. I argued with them for awhile to no avail which I knew would happen. Last time I checked speedloaders were not illegal. They told me it was an assault weapon part. Just shows their ignorance. This was a different situation not related to the gun sale through paypal. Gotta love both sites. But somehow they still operate and make billions.

They support a whole lot more than just banning guns... I don't/ won't use them, ever.

I Googled them but didn't find much. So please enlighten us what else do they support that you disagree with? Inquiring minds want to know, thanks.

Well, crap. I just switched to Progressive. What's the scoop on them?

Guess what they are name after and who they donate lots of money to?

8.5 million to the ACLU and 1.5 million to moveon.org for starters.

Just google Peter Lewis and you'll find plenty of crab on this CEO of that company.
