Arno Bernard Knives...

When I was at the NRA Convention, I handled a few of this maker's knives, and they amazed me. Thick knives with bone or wood handles, yet balanced so nice they seemed to have no weight at all. I really liked the way they felt, and could not put them down. Does anyone here have any experience with this maker?

He is South African and learned the craft from his father. In the last 10 or so years he has been marketing worldwide and building a large following. And, prices have been going up. They are very well designed and made and use a lot of local woods and bone. You can find his knives online, including ebay.
