So this event is "Domestic Terrorism", but the Ft. Hood shooting wasn't terrorism..:n00b:

Of course not. Major Hasan is a member of a favored group, therefore it is NOT terrorism. Had he been an NRA member or Tea Party person, preferable of European extraction, it most certainly would have been terrorism.

I have been giving this some thought. The MSM and the Obama campaign have been running a whispering campaign against Romney's Mormon religion. I think the question needs to be asked, how that denigration of an entire religion may have played into this tragic event.

These days, I suspect the Sikhs are probably hard at work rather than cultivating some outdated fighting skills, though. But I have the suspicion it may not be so hard to convince the modern Sikhs they'll need to take advantage of the Second Amendment to protect the innocent. Guns may be hard to "get into" for people from a foreign land, so maybe some people need to reach out to them.

The Sikhs have been in this country for over 130 years. The victims were most likely American citizens. Sikhs have fought in every war since WWI.

    Firearm?

Why is the weapon always described as "automatic"? One report had a handgun listed. So what's the truth?

He was an army vet with a 9/11 tattoo. Unless he has something worse on his skin, I cant' see how they could link a former active duty military member with that tattoo to neo nazis. I know they are grasping at straws right now, but that one is pretty far-fetched if that's all they are going on.
Also, the firearm is being reported as a semi-automatic 9mm. Props to the news for not assuming it was a Glock with a high capacity magazine.

But it was probably a Glock.

    "psychological operations specialist" ???

Looks like either media mishandling or misinformation. This makes him sound like some kind of James Bond spy with special power. He was an army Specialist (rank) after being demoted from Sergeant. He was stationed in a psychological hospital facility from what I read earlier.

Thus, "psychological operations specialist." The guy may have worked the front desk for all we know.

If you happen to look up the location of the church on Google maps, at the first major intersection south of it, on the SW corner, you will see a large area of cement running from Howell ave to the railroad scraped clean of any structures. That entire area is a former Delco plant that was recently shut down.

At that same intersection we do most of our grocery shopping, eat at a Greek owned place, drive through it to go to work and know and see people of all walks of life.

It would be easy for a person driven by hate to see those Sikh's just up the road from all the lost jobs with a well maintained property and zero in on them. The shooter lived in Cudahy, sees tons of urban decay, probably knows LOTS of people who have lost their jobs, etc etc etc.

At least the cops made contact with the shooter and killed him quick. Considering how bad ass Sikhs are in terms of human history it is a shame they were unarmed that day.

From what I heard from the news conference the cop who shot him used an evil assault rifle. It probably had something bigger than a 10 round magazine in it.

It's okay though, he's an agent of the state, he's permitted to use such an inherently evil gun.

So does this mean he was motivated by a media driven agenda?, a copycat like has been implied (before any info was available).

    Or was it rascist hate?

Seems like the copycat theory is bull****.
