Anyone else find it odd that the ATF is going by Brady Campaign and not UCR or BJS statistics? Seems a little on the obvious side, even for the ATF, even during an election year.

The :tinfoil: side of me, even wonders if such a biased lobbyist organization that's proven in the past as having it's claimed numbers shown to be false, has such bearing in the ATF offices, then how much influence to they have over the ability of the ATF to arbitrarily make and enforce "rules" while completely bypassing congress.

"Hello? I would like to inform on a nefarious gathering of ne'er-do-wells. There is this gang of thugs who are keeping more than 30,000 firearms and firearm accessories from legal and legitimate owners! How big would the reward be for information on that? That much? Wow. Okay. Well, they are located in Martinsburg, West Virginia. I think it is a travesty what they are doing and it needs to be stopped immediately!"
