While Foster Brooks kind of gets on my nerves, I love the Dean Martin Roasts...I have them all.

I get sick to my stomach when I watch the new roasts and think about what they used to be like.

A bunch of no talent *** clowns that have no business making fun of the person being roasted(most of the time).

Half of those jack*sses only TV time is the one time a year they get to go on that show and insult someone they have never even met.

The old roasts were just so much more tasteful and funny.

The first time I saw Rich Little impersonate Johnny Carson, I was literally rolling on the floor laughing...If you haven't seen it look it up, I'm sure it's on youtube somewhere.

Not even the Shatner roast????? C'Mon that was very funny IMO.

I also loved Carson, Rickles, Rich Little. Man those roastst were funny. My parents would reluctanlty let me watch them. Dean Martin was good at slipping the double entendres.

I lke a lot of the older stuff too.
How about some old Red Foxx, Buddy Hackett, or Richard Pryor? I'm mean they were funny as heck. They used foul language more sparingly and for effect than the guys today.

OK I'll get flamed for these 2 but I think they're funny:

    Sam Kinison and Chris Rock!

    Bring on the :flamethrower:

All of my all-time stand up comedians are all dead...

    1. George Carlin
    2. Bill Hicks
    3. Mitch Hedberg
    4. Richard Prior
    5. Johnny Carson

There are a few funny ones still alive, but they don't compare...

    1. Pablo Fransisco
    2. Chris Rock
    3. Dave Chappell
    4. Martin Lawrense
    5. Jim Gaffigan

(I know I'm missing some from both lists, I just did top 5's)
