Ballard vows to veto gun-in-parks bill

Speak up folks, here is the justification for the veto:

“This never comes up in any forum I ever go to,” Ballard said of the issue. “I’m putting out what I hear from the people.”

Apparently Mayor Ballard has not heard from that 71%. So if they are just in some poll, but do not contact the Mayor then he has no incentive to change his tune.

Send the mayor a letter! Then after you mail it, call his office. Encourage your friends to do the same. As they say in Chicago, vote early and vote often. Direct pressure is the only way to change politician's positions.

I know the poll was mentioned at least once somewhere in those three threads because I voted in it. It was 72% yesterday, though.
