    Well, the goof is 71 years old and has been in Congress since 1980. Why not retire and live on a fat pension courtesy of the rest of us.

    He and Al Franken are the two most embarrassing individuals in congress. One down, one to go. And that's just the immensely embarrassing ones... Don't get me started on the treasonous ones.

    Too little and way too late. He should have been led out in handcuffs some time ago. The sad thing is that he'll be replaced in his district by a hand picked successor, who will walk the same walk.

    For the life of me I can't think of a downside to it. :scratch:
    Unless you count the fact that we are going to pay him a handsome retirement, plus all expense paid medical, for the rest of his worthless life.
    But....
    We were doing that anyway from the day he got elected. :n00b:
