Bavarian stock vs. American stock

In my (seemingly neverending) quest for my "ideal" bolt gun, I've commited to a CZ. I'm either getting a CZ 550 UHR or a CZ 557 LUX. my question is what advantages or disadvantages are there to a bavarian style stock over a traditional "American" style stock.

Bavarian style rifle stocks are designed for use with open sights. Most American style stocks are for use with a scope.
