    My dads old rig.
He shot it a lot LOL.
    Sat the last 20 yrs.

So....new black grips to replace the shrunken/ loose originals ( i have a new pair of squished eagles but the light walnut color looked crappy to my eyes ). May swap medallions.

Powers base pin, 1.5 thousandths larger dia. Took most wobble out of cylinder.

BRC steel ej rod housing as orig was worn and loose.

Good enough to blast a Bambi now.

My first handgun deer was with a diff 3 screw .44 mag. Using one of dads hard cast Keith boolits. Zipped through and I dug quite a bit trying to find it ( shot doe at base of tree from a stand ). Never did.

Nice, I gave my son a Ruger new model .357 Blackhawk, found rusted up on Mt.Charleston near Las Vegas Nevada.
What a story that one has!
I have a NM SBH blued frame w minor scratches if he wants to spiff it up. No SBH hammers though. Was gonna keep the frame and get a stainless hammer n trigger, if I scored an underside warning label 4 5/8".

Thought about having it plated or cerakoted to look like brass or stainless.
Haven't seen a NM .357 shorty w small warning for sale reasonable.
Heck I rarely shoot my Python, so yeah, another .357 I need LOL

Mid 80’s young man climbing Mt Charleston found a Ruger NMBH in .357 somewhere on the mountain.
Using steel wool he tackled the rust, the cylinder very pitted, the trigger guard bent up and in, no grips or springs.
He put in springs from a toy gun and wrapped the grip in duck tape.
We went to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police with it and had the sn# checked.
Not reported as missing/wanted/stolen, it was good to go and he shot .357 Silvertips in it, I wouldn’t touch it.
Long story short, he entered the Army and gave it to me.
I mailed it to Ruger who at No COST, gave it a new frame, grips, springs, and rebuke.
The front sight was bent so it got a new barrel too.
Looks new except pitted re blued cylinder.
My son has it now down in Davies county, where he lives.
If only that revolver could talk!
