My side of the bed is my Glock 22 with laser and light combo. The wifes side of the bed is with her Bersa CC. Our home is located on a street corner, so the street light lights our front two sides of the yard. the neighbors yard is lit up with a yard light that lights the back of our home. Our yard light covers the other side of the home, with motion sensor lighting covering the front of the garage. Of course they first need to get by our American Stafordshire Terrier with out getting licked to death!

EDC within arms reach. Often times fall asleep on the couch. Starts on the coffee table and moves to the nightstand. Both tables have lights handy.

    Shotgun under the bed.

Changed my mind, going with this:

    XD.jpg

Knowing where to grip the gun is important when being awakened by bumps in the night, so the clear labeling on this pistol is a lifesaver. :):

XD Tactical Mod 2 .45 ACP
    Federal HST +P
    Streamlight TLR-1 HL
    Trijicon HD night sights
    2 extra mags
    Hanes T-shirt
    Fruit-of-the-Loom briefs

Always have kept a revolver in the drawer.

    S/W 10-6 revolver 6 shot .38 special presently.
If sell it, I will use the Kimber .357 revolver).

    I'm thinking of keeping a S/W 4006 .40 acp semi-auto ex-Police gun in the drawer also.

A Cajunized CZ SP01 with TruGlo night sights. It was gifted to me by a group of great friends. It's called the Blue Angel and it was the last gun I owned when I was sick and had to sell everything off. Now that I have gotten some of them back it simply refuses to go back in the safe. It sports a 19+1 magazine with a 26 rounder as backup.

An aluminum baseball bat will do all that, plus it never needs sharpening and doesn't take so much skill to acquire. Though it does make some noise on contact.

An aluminum bat seems like a waste of a potential sacrificial offering to Huītzilōpōchtli
