Notes for shooting a .22 at BORCC IDPA
1- At the unload and show clear command - Pull trigger-
If you do not feel your .22 can not handle a trigger pull on an empty chamber, you may with clearance from your squad range officer, show that the gun is empty, and insert a chamber flag then holster.
OR With clearance from your squad range officer, show that the gun is empty, insert a chamber flag, and bag it, or just bag it until you are called to the line again to shoot.
2- Steel will be calibrated for .22, we will also have the scorekeeper listen for a hit on steel and they will be requested to call out when a .22 hit on steel is made and that will be sufficient for your
score on steel if the steel does not fall
3- If a .22 hit on steel is heard and the steel does not fall to activate other targets, the .22 shooter will be given a score for the hit on the steel target and points down for the targets not shot at but will not be given a failure to engage any targets which were supposed to be activated by the steel.
4- If you do not have enough .22 magazines, we will allow you to shoot but a 3 second procedural will be given for each magazine reload that you did not make that would have been made by an 8 shot CDP shooter.
5- If a .22 shooter has to start from low ready due to no holster, there will be a 3 second procedure per draw.
See you on the Range
