Who is this guy, and why am I hearing about him everywhere? The more I hear and the more I see, this quote comes to mind: "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

He seems to be quite popular among the libs who voted for Obama.

He is a self described Socialist which is exactly why you are hearing about him. Since the MSM is Socialist and the schools are Socialist and we have had 2 or three generations of kids educated by Socialists it's time to run a real, in your face Socialist and see what happens. The time has come to end our Republic. We are already post-constitutional. John Roberts decided that this summer.

If people only voted to redistribute their own wealth it wouldn't be such an issue. But then if that were the case, there wouldn't be much point in calling it socialism. It'd be called charity.

A few Christmases ago, we had a man from Sweden spend some time with us.
He said in Sweden, that the tax rates are very high, and you get to keep little of what you earn.
But there's a large socialist type welfare system that pays for a lot of things we pay for ourselves here in the USA.

I'd rather live in the USA.

One GOOD thing we talked about was Swedish Mauser rifles.

People whined about Romney's secretary paying more tax than Romney. Huh? He paid more tax during the tax year Harry Reid *****ed about than she'll ever make her whole life. Well, unless she hits the lottery or sues someone.

I had no idea what AWB stood for. I Googled it - nothing of relevance came up. Finally concluded it must be an acronym for "All Weapons Ban (?)." Sure wish that either folks wouldn't assume everyone knows all of the INGO lingo or are too lazy to type out the whole word.

Disclaimer: I am more than a casual reader of INGO and somewhat well versed in firearms references as well as current political topics.
