Best Day to go to Indy 1500?

Do NOT go on Thursday or Monday. Those are the worst days.

Definitely not on Monday, all the good stuff's gone by then.

Go with the expectation to see a lot of different guns and accessories. Expect to pass by a few people that should have showered before attending. Expect to see a few good deals and as many or more examples of how to never sell goods by pricing way over market.
I've not missed a 1500 in 7 years. Some I haven't spent $20 even counting the gate and parking, some I've spent thousands. I have enjoyed every trip!
Enter with that attitude and you'll have a great time.
